The Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport is on the northern coast of the island; from there Club Cala de Palmas can be reached by taxi (approx. $80 USD), public bus or rental car. Renting a car is the best way to enjoy the attractions at different points of the island. Public transportation between cities is conducted in privately owned buses or mini-vans, called "guaguas" that usually stops in each town's main plaza. Car rental is recommended.
