Announcement of the Club Cala Renovation!            December 9, 2005

At long last, the much talked about and desperately needed renovation program of Club Cala de Palmas Resort located in Humacao, Puerto Rico, is underway!

The program is slated to begin in January and will continue in earnest until all the work has been completed by the end of the year! The total scope of the renovation will encompass all 104 member units and will include a new lobby and registration area, plus extensive work on all Deferred Maintenance such as Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical items that have been an issue for many years.

Targeted to raise the quality of the resort substantially overall, the program will include the following partners:

ROCAL Engineers and Project Management of Mexico City, Mexico
IMM Design and Interiors of San Diego, California
Inmobiliaria Desarrolladora Puerto Rico VS, Inc. (IDPRVS)
Royal Holiday Club
ResortCom International of Puerto Rico, LLC
And Numerous Local Artisans, Craftsmen and Building Contractors

The renovation is projected to improve the quality of nearly every aspect of Club Cala’s units, from interior painting, to air conditioning, furnishings, fixtures, appliances, fabrics, linens, pillows, bedding, plumbing, landscaping and mechanical equipment. Literally, no area of the resort will remain untouched or unimproved.

A Special Assessment will be mailed out to each member during the month of December. Payments will be due by the end of January.
Special Assessment Payment Options are:

1. For members who are current in all maintenance fees, payments may also be broken down into quarterly or even monthly amounts on an automatic credit card payment plan that will be set up by the Resort Management Company, ResortCom International!

Club Cala also has a Members Hot Line for questions about the Refurbishment program, or for members to exchange weeks with Interval International, or just general Resort Questions. We can assure you that you will be very pleased with your New Club Cala, as we take the resort from a low rated property to one which will have high demand and strong exchange power with our trading partners, Interval International!
